
ELEMENTS, 11' 2" Marble by Inger Sannes
The work of Norwegian sculptor Inger Sannes, Elements will be sited on the roundabout at Shoe Lane and the Avenue of the Arts at the entrance to Christopher Newport University fronting the the neo-classical facade of the new Trible Library. Selection of the white Carrara marble for the sculpture has been made from the mountains surrounding the town of Pietrasanta in Italy where the piece will be fabricated in the renowned Studio Sem in Lucca in Tuscany.
